Here’s a shot I took at a restaurant in Kuwait.  The restaurant, otherwise modern and with a hint of Kuwaiti architecture and what not, had set up a tent by the entrace where this man treated the guest to some old fashioned, Kuwaiti hospitality.  We were greeted by our host (whose name I forgot to get…so bad) and he immediately poured some tea for us.  You see the bundle of cups on his left and the traditional, golden tea kettles that are positioned in front of him, on a live fire/coal.  He then treated us to some songs (I am sure traditional) to the beat of beating/grinding some herb, as you can see in the photo.
